4/16/05

Dad didn't go to class this morning because Migi turned out to be sick when we got home from Tang Soo yesterday. Andy and Chris and I were laughing so hard yesterday over old jokes...but they had to leave about 45 minutes before me, so I was playing with Paco and Brian while dad was in class. Mr. Leonard and 2 of the kids showed up yesterday, they meant to turn their forms into either Mr. Costas or Master Washington, but neither of them were there. Lyndon was at work, so he didn't go with them. They told me that they'd been working on one-steps on Thursday. Ugh, I can't believe I missed it. Here's a list of the people I know who placed at the Ocean State Grand Nationals:

Angel - 1st place sparring & 3rd place forms

Congrats to all my friends!!! According to Mr. Costas, 16 people went to Rhode Island.

Dad, Paco, and I just got back from karate. They were practicing kama forms. I think dad is going to class tomorrow morning.

My knee went out again this morning, while I was at class. I was doing a jump front-kick. I guess I won't be doing that at the tournament.

the board breaking seminar was a blast!!! paco and migi both tried multiple board breaks. dad wasnt able to watch the boys very much, he was put in charge of another group. paco tried a double hammerfist and migi tried to break 2 boards with a flying jump side-kick. dana tried to do the suicide break...he managed to break 1 board.

just got back from class. mom didnt go with me tonight. good class, we worked up and down the floor techniques, forms, and some conditioning. im still in my uniform. didnt feel like changing. sean won 3rd in sparring at the tournament in rhode island. go sean! his dad, brian, won 2nd. congratulations! couple people missing from the class before mine... where were ms christine and ms angel? is todd l sick? he hasnt been to class since thursday. todd e will keep forgetting to check his email. ugh. too busy annoying his sis i suppose:-) dana didnt feel like coming to class tonight. his mom said he was too tired.
